The Diploma of Fitness course enables Personal Trainers to provide tailored exercise plans to clients with a range of medical conditions and work alongside Allied Health Professionals.

Exercise Therapists can work in a broad range of settings including: exercise therapy clinics, medical and rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, health care centres, corporate health environments, plus health clubs and gyms.

The Australian Government loan scheme, VET FEE-HELP is available for those students needing assistance with their fees for this course.

Who Should Attend?
  • Those looking for the extra knowledge and skills to work with clients that have a chronic condition or injury
  • Those wanting to help make a positive change to patients suffering from known and identified chronic conditions
  • Those who have a keen interest in working alongside Allied Health Professionals (GPs, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists)
Why Should I Do The Course?

With statistics suggesting that 60% of the Australian population is overweight or obese, with many suffering from lifestyle diseases, there is a real need for Personal Trainers to be upskilled on a wider range of conditions, so they can work with clients of moderate risk that have stable conditions.

Upon completion the Institute’s graduates will have many opportunities to enjoy a long and successful career in this area, with potential options including: working in an exercise therapy clinic, or at health care centres, medical clinics and hospitals, as well as rehabilitation clinics.
