The Fitness Zone
Hayden Quinn first entered the minds of Australian foodies as a fan favourite on MasterChef, back in 2011.
Since then, Hayden has been riding the wave of Masterchef success all the way to book deals, television shows, and a successful YouTube channel.
What you may not know about the Sydney babe is aside from being a whiz in the kitchen and an avid surfer, he is incredibly passionate about fitness, and owns a gym with two of his best mates.
The Cube Gym was born out of a backyard gym where they trained together for years until their dreams of buying a space became a reality.
This year, Hayden began his Master Trainer course at the Australian Institute of Fitness, which will allow him to add ‘qualified Personal Trainer’ to his already crowded resume.
So why are his passions a match made in heaven? For Hayden, food and fitness go very much hand in hand, because respect for what goes on your plate easily translates into respect for the body you’re fuelling.
“The food you eat each day is so important,” he says. “I have always looked at food as fuel for my body and used this combination to power my dreams”.
Like food, fitness has always been a part of Hayden’s life. Having a keen interest in sport and working as a surf life-saver before starring on MasterChef, taking his skills in the gym to the next level was a natural progression.
“I wanted to take this opportunity to make fitness a part of my career,” Hayden says, “because I saw it as another opportunity to share something I love with others.”
Hayden’s career success proves that fitness and nutrition is about more than hitting the gym, empowering him to continually challenge himself personally and professionally.
“I want to be healthy, I want to live a full life, I want to do everything I can do and I don’t want anything to hold me back!”
