BurnThis App Review
June 23, 2015

It’s 6am. Your alarm sounds and you slide into your pre-prepared gym outfit super hero style. As you stumble the 100 metres from the car to the gym, you flick through Instagram for some words of motivation from your favourite fit-stars, maybe a new kettlebell circuit video or #transformation pic?

Nestled within your carefully selected feed there they are; happy snaps from your mates latest hang featuring pizza, burgers and beer.

This is where BurnThis App steps up to the treadmill! If you want to plug into a world of guaranteed fitspiration for those early gym mornings or late night power sessions, this is the app for you!

What Does it Do?

BurnThis is basically Instagram for the fit-minded! The posting process asks you to choose a quote, includes mood based filters like “fit”, “sweaty” or “badass” and has challenges from some of your favourite bloggers and companies with great prizes! The set up mirrors that of Instagram so learning to use it will be a lot easier than those pull-ups you’re trying to master. You can easily navigate from your “B Wall” or newsfeed, to inviting friends, challenges and posting tabs.

Who Should Use it?

Workout enthusiasts who want to take the fitspiration Instagram offers to the next level! It would be particularly suitable if you have a group of friends you’re getting fit with so you can create your own fitspiration bubble.

Rating

The app is still in it’s early stages so motivation might come easier if you join up with some people you already know! However, with the right momentum, this could become the new home of #fitspo.
