1. Have Passion

Michelle is passionate about her role as a Personal Trainer and life-changer. Loving what you do and having a genuine passion to help others will allow you to find common ground with your clients and potential employers. So always exude a positive attitude, be friendly, and maintain professionalism.

2. Stay Motivated

Michelle knows that unless she can motivate herself, she won't be able to motivate others. Personal Trainers don't just motivate their clients, they must also stay motivated themselves and act on any given opportunity. Let's face it you're not going to last the distance without drive, so set goals to keep you focused and growing.

3. Make Improvements 

Continuously striving to better yourself is key to being the best. This is achieved by making it a habit to learn and improve all the time. Whether this be your workouts, knowledge or education, it is vital to continuously freshen up your skills and potentially acquire new ones to boost income opportunities. Don't forget to read magazines, journals, online publications, and social media to keep up with the latest nutrition and fitness trends.

The fitness industry is full of opportunities! Networking with industry professionals at conferences, events, and through LinkedIn and Twitter is a great way to build your name.
