Interesting Findings from The Australian Health Survey

Want to know what the most popular vegetable, confectionery or beverage choice is for Australians? Read on for the low-down on what Australian's are eating and how we should be dividing our plates!  

Obesity numbers in Australia are on the rise, and there has been a resurgence in the past decade into the study of nutritional intake and how it can impact on a person’s health. To find out what Australians are eating, the government performed two national surveys - one in 1995 and one in 2011-2012 - asking participants what they had eaten in the previous 24 hours. Over 25,000 people participated in the survey, and ages ranged from 2 to 70+ years old.
