Justice Crew's John Pearce Shares His Ultimate Body Weight Workout And Why He Got Qualified As A Personal Trainer
March 14, 2016

“Consistency is key to reaching success,” recent Master Trainer graduate and newly enrolled Nutrition Coach student John Pearce’s fitness and health philosophy is pure and simple. “If you give up completely you just promote a vicious cycle of starting over yet again,” John says, whose career as one of six Justice Crew band members continues to grow from strength to strength.

Fitness always played a major role in John’s life, who excelled in Rugby League and athletics from the age of six. “This ignited the passion and drive I have for fitness today” John says who now hits the gym 4-5 times a week as well as prioritising low intensity steady state (LISS) cardio on the weekends.

As a apart of Justice Crew, John is often travelling and living out of a suitcase, which means understanding the basics of bodyweight training has been invaluable. “If time does get really tight doing a bunch of push ups and planks before bed always helps me sleep,” check out the rest of John’s ultimate hotel workout below.

20 crunches

3x 1 min planks with 30 sec rest in between

While John’s job as a musician and performer allows him to express his creativity on a daily basis, he says that part of the reason he loves fitness is because it serves as a creative outlet for him. Having only recently graduated, John is already hatching plans for where he would like to take his qualification, including opening up a gym that includes dance classes and a dedicated open area for outdoor workouts.

Having completed his Master Trainer qualification, John is now completing our Nutrition Coach course to expand upon his newfound health and fitness knowledge. “The course has helped me so much already and the techniques I learnt allowed me to increased my muscle mass and reach my goals quicker,” John says.
