Fitness is a way of life

Tim Georgiou started competitive swimming at age 14, at 18 he is ranked 24 in Australia. Tim knew that he wanted a career in fitness as it would? be flexible enough to continue with something his is so passionate about and loves, swimming.

After finishing his HSC he enrolled at the Australian Institute of Fitness and graduated in April of 2008. He landed a job as a gym instructor at Fitness No1 and combines early morning swimming squad training with work.

Tim really enjoyed all the practical aspects of the course as he loves being hands on. He loved learning as It was totally different from school and the coaches were so friendly and approachable.

Tim's advice to any young student is that if you put your mind to it you can do it, just keep at it.

"Impossible is only a word, nothing is impossible "
