- The Association of Massage Therapists (AMT) is a national not-for-profit association representing qualified massage therapists and massage therapy students. AMT advocates vigorously on behalf of its members to advance the profile and standing of massage therapists, and promote the health benefits of massage therapy. AMT was established in 1966 and is the oldest association in Australia to represent massage therapy in its own right and the premier representative body for professional therapists. I have been a member with AMT since 2004 and what I love most is the AMT teams continued support throughout my career in providing fun and interesting workshops to enhance my skills. They also ensure that I am fully covered with their preferred insurance provider so that I am a recognised health fund provider with the major health funds and ensure I stay up to date with my continuing educations points. The AMT team are always ready and willing to assist you with your enquires on all things massage. http://www.amt.org.au/
