Course Overview

If massage is your passion, we’ll give you the best start in your career with our Certificate IV in Massage Therapy. Based on industry best practice, students will learn about the safest, most effective techniques for giving a full body relaxation massage, as well as sports massage, massaging for special needs, rehabilitation and stretching techniques.

You will also learn about treatment of muscular pain, the essentials to managing a successful massage therapy business, plus the skills and knowledge required to work in a supervised massage clinic.

The Institute is the only provider to get you career ready with the Career Head-Start Service, and is the only massage course, when combined with Remedial Massage Therapist, tailored to treating athletes and gym goers.

If you want to enhance your Massage Therapist qualification and elevate yourself even further within the massage industry, we recommend The Institute's Diploma of Remedial Massage which will allow you to increase your scope of practice through learning more advanced massage techniques, posture analysis, and injury rehabilitation practices. Plus, our Diploma will allow you to become eligible for private health fund rebates.
