COVID FAQs
Will I need to check-in at campus each day via the QR code?
Currently, everyone attending an AIF campus/classroom in NSW, QLD, SA and VIC will need to check-in each time they visit the site, using the appropriate QR code/app procedure for that location.
In WA, those attending AIF massage clinics are required to check-in using the appropriate QR code/app procedure.
You can stay informed of any changes to these requirements by keeping up-to-date with the latest health orders in your region.
Do I need to be double-vaxxed to attend my on-campus course at AIF?
Currently, double vaccination requirements are only applicable in VIC, if you are attending a face-to-face course at a campus that is co-located within a commercial health club facility (Altona, Bundoora, Chadstone and South Melbourne campuses in VIC). In VIC, the date of any changes is currently unknown.
Please keep up to date with your regional roadmaps and communications from AIF.
If vaccination status affects your ability to attend your on-campus studies in VIC, please contact your course Coach as soon as possible to discuss your options.
Do I need to wear a mask on campus?
Currently, in SA and VIC, masks are required to be worn on campus. You can stay informed of any changes to these requirements by keeping up-to-date with the latest health orders in your region.
What is AIF doing to support vaccination for its staff and students?
AIF is committed to the Australian COVID Vaccination Program and is actively encouraging every team member to get vaccinated at the earliest possible opportunity. We have enabled flexible working hours, additional paid leave and financial incentives to encourage uptake.
In VIC, all AIF employees will be fully vaccinated before being authorised to be on campus, as per a COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Direction in this region.
For students, where possible, AIF will provide flexibility of study in regards to obtaining vaccinations. If you are unable to attend a class due to a vaccination appointment, please contact your Coach who will be able to advise you of make-up session options.
Will all of my classmates be vaccinated when we return to campus?
It is not currently a requirement for AIF students to be fully vaccinated when visiting campus unless you are attending a face-to-face course at a campus that is co-located within a commercial health club facility in VIC (Altona, Bundoora, Chadstone and South Melbourne campuses). Please keep up to date with your regional roadmaps and communications from AIF. If you have any concerns, please contact your course Coach.
What if I can't attend my classes, due to vaccination appointments, health orders or quarantine restrictions?
AIF will provide flexibility where possible. If you need to miss a class due to any of these COVID-related reasons, please contact your Coach immediately to inform them. They will be able to advise you of make-up session options. If you have to miss classes due to quarantine reasons, do not attend campus until AIF confirms with you that it is safe to do so.
Do I have to complete the COVIDSafe Checklist again? (On-Campus & Online Warriors)
Yes. If you are studying with us on campus, you will need to complete the checklist again if there has been a recent lockdown or COVID-related changes to health orders in your region. Currently, this is required for VIC students.
Please keep up to date with communications from AIF, as you are unable to attend campus unless this has been completed.
I've chosen to not get vaccinated OR I have a medical exemption - how will this impact my on-campus studies with AIF?
Currently, double vaccination requirements are only applicable in VIC, if you are attending a face-to-face course at a campus that is co-located within a commercial health club facility (Altona, Bundoora, Chadstone and South Melbourne campuses). In VIC, the date of any changes is currently unknown.
If you are studying at an affected campus and have chosen to not get vaccinated, or have a medical exemption, but want to continue studying face-to-face, please contact your Coach. Your regional team will be happy to discuss your options and provide a deferral into the following face-to-face course.
If you have a valid medical contraindication and want to attend face-to-face study in a location in which it is mandatory to be vaccinated or have an exemption, you will need to provide the supporting documentation to AIF before attending campus.
Please keep up to date with your regional roadmaps and communications from AIF.
