If you’ve studied with AIF in the last year, chances are you’ve heard of – or even attended (you lucky duck!) – AIF’s Personal Trainer Masterclass Series.
These workshops are an incredible opportunity for students to establish professional relationships with Personal Training Managers within Fitness First and Goodlife Health Clubs, to increase their career opportunities, and to get hands-on experience. The workshops relate directly to the students’ coursework, so they can build on and reinforce their on-campus and online learning in a practical environment… and did we mention it’s FREE?!
Dates have just been announced for the next round of workshops; they kick off nationwide in MAY 2022. So, let’s give you the run down and help you enrol!
WHAT IS THE PT MASTERCLASS SERIES?
In partnership, AIF and Fitness & Lifestyle Group (FLG) have created an integrated Club Campus Program that combines the best on-campus and online learning with FREE practical hands-on workshops in Fitness First and Goodlife Health Clubs. Delivered by FLG Personal Training Managers, this unique training model complements the learning that AIF students complete on-campus and online, and as an added bonus it also awards 12 CEC points upon completion!*
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
The Masterclass Series covers advanced tools and strategies for specific client groups. It includes:
Workshop 1 – Coaching the Beginner
Workshop 2 – Coaching around Metabolic Diseases
Workshop 3 – Coaching for Physique
Workshop 4 – Coaching the Athlete
Workshop 5 – Coaching through Rehab
Workshop 6 – Coaching for Mental Health & Wellbeing
Students will complete their training and assessments on-campus and online in accordance with the course guidelines. The workshops give students an extra practical element, providing skills and experience with scenarios that Personal Trainers encounter in their careers.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
The workshops are available to all Master Trainer Program™ students and graduates, across all delivery modes, i.e. on-campus and online, who are looking to upskill while gaining insights into opportunities at FLG clubs.
