Starting, or changing your career and taking a dive into the world of fitness can be a little scary, and we know you must have a HEAP of questions about the industry and about our course’, so we have our top FIVE questions we get asked, answered for you below, thanks to Gillianne Richards, Fitness Coach at the Australian Institute of Fitness WA.

What Is The Master Trainer Program™?

The Master Trainer Program™ is the number one, and most recognised personal training qualification in Australia. To become a Master Trainer, the Australian Institute of Fitness marks you on six additional criteria, these being; attendance, attitude, presentation, punctuality, performance and experience. These standards are regarded in the fitness industry as critically relevant to being a successful Personal Trainer, and having this certification will increase your employability against other trainers.

I Won’t Be Able To Make It On Campus, Can I Study Online?

Yes, of course you can. We offer an online study option, called eCampus which provides you the flexibility to complete your studies around full time work, having a family, or living regionally. This option may suit you if you live in a regional area, or are juggling other priorities, which makes it hard for you to get to a campus. The online learning is combined with your Unrivalled Support from our eCoach’ via phone and email, as well as virtual classrooms, and optional face-to-face intensive weekends.

If online study seems a little worrying, we also offer a Blended modality. This is when you study the majority of your course online, but attend face to face weekend intensives once per month over the duration of roughly seven months, so you have regular face to face contact with your coach to help keep you on track.
