The Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) has unveiled a new industry partnership with Conscious Counsel, an award-winning law firm serving fitness and wellness professionals across the globe.
Conscious Counsel provides legal counsel and agreements for what it describes as ‘creative, ambitious and heart-leading business owners’ in the wellness and fitness industries. The team, led by founder Cory Sterling, lives and breathes the world of wellness and understands the fitness industry inside out, making Conscious Counsel an ideal match for AIF and its graduates.
As part of the new partnership, AIF Warriors will be provided with educational content and resources to give them a better understanding of the legal considerations for their fitness or massage businesses.
Announcing the new partnership, AIF’s Head of Operations Kim Horner said; ‘Whether you’re embarking on a new fitness or massage career or have been in the game for a while, it’s absolutely imperative that you are standing safely on firm legal ground. Any business operator’s worst nightmare is being subjected to a potentially devastating lawsuit on the part of an aggrieved client. With a foot in both the legal, and the fitness and wellness industries, Conscious Counsel is perfectly positioned to deliver legal guidance to AIF’s Warriors. We are really pleased to be joining forces with the team in order to get our graduates off to a sound start in terms of operational best practice.”
Conscious Counsel is on a mission to transform the way legal services are offered, by creating a fun, simple, peaceful and empowering experience of working with the law – an experience it will provide to AIF’s graduates at a 15% discount.
Conscious Counsel’s CEO and Founder, Cory Sterling added; “AIF and Conscious Counsel share a universal mission to empower fitness and wellness professionals with the resources they need to thrive. It’s an honour for us to partner with such an incredible organisation that is leading the way and setting the gold standard in Australia. The law can be confusing, intimidating, and ambiguous for wellness professionals, especially in this uncertain Covid-era. At Conscious Counsel, we’re here to help ensure AIF Warriors are fully supported, secure and protected with best legal practices. In partnership with AIF, we can’t wait to help more fitness professionals lead with confidence and peace of mind, knowing they are legally safe and sound!’
Both AIF and Conscious Counsel look forward to bringing value to the experience of AIF’s Personal Training and Massage students through this new partnership.
