For the next step in your personal training career, The Institute’s Personal Training Specialist will provide students will metabolic conditioning, advanced programming, and strength and conditioning skills.
You’ll become familiar with the latest trends in the fitness industry such as body weight training, ‘The Obesity Paradox’, the concept of TOFI (thin on the outside, fat on the inside), and how metabolic conditioning should be the cornerstone of client training sessions.
The course will make you re-think pre-conceived ideas about fat, health and fitness, and challenge you to change your approach. Packed with awesome strategies to implement with your clients while you do the course, we give you the platform to be a pacesetter in the fitness industry.

Personal Training Specialist
To be eligible for this course, students must hold a minimum Certificate IV in Fitness. Students must also have a computer and internet access, and meet the Institute’s acceptance criteria.
Training and Assessment
This course is a combination of face-to-face and online delivery, using a variety of training and assessment methods to apply knowledge and practical skills. Students are encouraged to apply their skills within their own personal training position. It is a course requirement that students attend in-house practical training and assessment days as well external assessments. Course components include eChecks, online and written tasks and practical tasks.
